The
Yakima Specialties Foundation was formed in 2003. It is a totally separate 501(c)(3) corporation
directed by a seven person volunteer board of directors, a cross section
of leaders from our community. The scope of Yakima Specialties Foundation
is vast. Whereas Yakima Specialties, Inc is designed to provide employment
opportunities for those with disabilities, Yakima Specialties Foundation
is here to help improve the lifestyles of those within the entire disabled
community. As we grow, we will also be able to provide support for other
charitable organizations serving the disabled as well.
